Not great at anything; out of diet soda when I went. The original Don's was a family favorite for many years - this didn't come close.
We were all excited to see Don' s. resurrected. New don's falls far short. Ordinary burgers...no red relish! The wrong mustard! The details made the original Don's a treat...sadly lacking here.
Under new ownership. Greasy French fries, needed to follow-up for my order. Shop Rite ketchup on tables. Other than me , it seemed only family members hanging out with child running around constantly while coughing. Hate to see businesses fail but don't waste your time!
Was with a friend that we were headed to a Mexican restaurant in Morristown which was closed. He knew about Don's and told me in the long-ago days Don's was a restaurant in W Orange where he grew up and it was awesome. I ordered a hot dog, fries & drink; friend ordered hamburger, onion rings & drink. We shared... More
They were having a deal last week for $4.95 burgers with all you can eat fries and drink. The burgers were decent and the fries are like boardwalk fries. Will most likely return. Prices on a regular day are average $5-7 for a burger.
Very greasy fries. It is true that they are freshly made, but if oil is not hot enough, you get a greasy mess just like I did. Hamburgers are average tasting. I was hoping for something more special for the $ 13.00 I spent for a cheese burger fries and soda
Very old fashioned burger. Drippy. Choice of cheese. Ample condiments. Got asked how I wanted it cooked. Fast service. Friendly.
I was going to attend a show at the next door Community Theater/Mayo Center for the Arts and I was hungry on a Saturday night. I saw Don's Burgers was open and I could have run down to Subway, but I thought this would be a good time to try Don's. I didn't have much time & the show was... More
Heard so many great reviews about the original Don's in Livingston. have eat here 1/2 a dozen times and only loved it once. It's good not cheap not sure if it beat out the quater pounder at Mcd's. Great locations. TOok my sone and his friend there we each had burger, fires and drink for $34, which i thought a... More
Their burgers are very good and reasonably priced but I think that their best item is the bowl of onion rings. They really appear hand dipped with a very light batter. No sauce required. The restaurant is clean and very popular with families. Shakes are tasty and just the right thickness too.
