Decent food, average service, WAY overpriced. Many other places on the island to get better food and pay a fraction of the cost.
This was my first dining at Spago's so I had high expectations after hearing about the $149 wagyu beef on the menu. The ocean view from the outside seating was great as we were there at sunset. We were served a complimentary coconut ginger soup which was very good. They offered four types of bread--get the onion bread which is...

We saved Spago for the last night of our most recent trip to Maui, even though we had a lackluster experience at Ferraro's, also at Four Seasons, on a previous trip. Disappointing at every turn. Started with a 10 minute wait in the barren lounge (we were never offered a drink), even though we could see at least four tables...

Had dinner here with my wife and it was OK. The fish was really fresh and was pretty good. Service was fine. It was just so expensive. My wife had the $72 ribeye, and it wasn't worth it at all. I've had better for less. But the Ahi I had was very good. Glad I went...but not again!

Amazing meal and fantastic service at Spago at the Four Seasons. Great food and setting, beautiful outlook to the stunning Four Seasons grounds. We really loved it, highly recommended. Not cheap but worth the $$.
Beautiful facility and upper lobby location looking south out toward the ocean. Menu selections were excellent incorporating Hawaiian Island flavors and ingredients. Can't say enough good things about the service staff!!
We decided to go to this restaurant on our last night on the island. We selected this restaurant based on the reviews which were both positive and negative...nevertheless, we went in knowing that we would be spending between $100-$200 pp and that would have been 'fine' if we were 'wowed' by the food. I ordered a spicy Mahi Mahi salad...

We had a great table, stunning view. Service was crisp and very good. Wine list is a bit on the expensive side, but we found some good wines. Food was delicious, fresh, well prepared. This was the best meal of the holiday until we tried Cuatro restaurant, which was just as good at 1/2 the price.
