Only spent the one night in Fox Glacier, motel owner told us to try this restaurant for dinner. Great meal, Good service warm cosy atmosphere with the open fire. Would certainly go back next time I'm in Fox.

We went here unexpectedly when our B&B turned out to have a dinner time later than we wanted. The lamb shank is excellent and the other things we had were also quite good. The price is good and there was a live guitar player too. A little gem. Casual atmosphere and dress.
Meal was fine, atmosphere was great, nice warm fire. slipped up a bit on the follow up service after the main meal, might have purchased desert and coffee if they had asked.
nice laid back, pleasant service good food. Take away one of their restaurant dinners and enjoy in your cabin after a fierce day on the glacier

Despite being busy, we were quickly seated, and our lovely server took our beverage orders right away. My wife has the Pasta special of the day (elbow spaghetti, red onions, spinach, feta, greek olives and mushrooms, in a rich tomato sauce). It was very good, indeed. I had the soup of the day (Country Vegetable) which was hot and hearty)...
