We had lunch there over winter break and my teenage son is still raving over the best burger he ever ate! (I think it was a mixed game burger with elk and bison and some other meat, too). I had buffalo chili, my husband had a mixed grill of 3 different game sausages plus baked beans and our 9 yos... More

As meat eaters we were happy to enjoy great and tasty meals here. Friendly service. The owner made it possible for me to retrieve lost item in after hours and gave new meaning to service with a smile.

What a clever idea, combining a bbq place with a caveman theme--we had a lot of laughs over the name of menu items! I only eat meat which is humanely raised, and wild game definitely fits the bill. Stone Age BBQ has a GREAT selection of wild game menu items. I had the Mountain Man burger, a mix of venison,... More

We had lunch on the patio with our dogs. The waitress was friendly and answered any questions we had about the menu. We started out with the hushpuppies. They were excellent. It is hard to find good hushpuppies West of the Mississippi. The raspberry tea was good too. My husband got the special Mountin Man burger. It was a mixture... More

Hubby & I ate there last night and we were very pleased with the food & service. I had the Island Pterodactyl. The chicken quarters were wonderfully seasoned & smoked with a yummy spicy dipping sauce. The grilled squash & asparagus along with the fried sweet potatoes were delicious sides. Hubby enjoyed the Loch Ness Platter of fried fish and... More

So or wives sent us out to bring dinner back. We read about this place and it sounded good. When we walked in they were just throwing the Buffalo Ribs on the Smoker. The owner told us he would save us two full racks and didn't charge us until we came back. when we returned we ordered the wild game... More

The grand kids loved this spot - they had kid meals, made a mess & had fun! The adults had he man burgers, sweet potato fries & had a lot to eat! All of us enjoyed the wait staff & owner, who helped us with choices. Very kid friendly!

Stopped in here while shopping in Estes Park and were so glad we did. The chef, who was friendly, personable and obviously enjoys what he does, seated us, explained the specials. we went for the Mountain Man Burger and the chili. The burger was delicious and did not have an overwelming gamey flavor - worth the extra $ for the... More

Great place! My husband had the Mountain Man Burger and he loved it. I had brisket. Both were excellent. Also had fries and baked beans. Everything was very good. The baked beans are a must try! They are delicious! Also, if you get the chance you have to try the banana pudding. It's not always available because it's made fresh.... More
