This is a great original local diner to go for breakfast. The portions, price and service is great. They also service a fantastic lunch!

I go here every so often. I've never been disappointed with whatever I eat and the prices are unbeatable! The waitresses are super friendly and wait to get your food is very short!

Typical diner/ greasy spoon fare. Nothing worth driving out of your way for. Lots of regulars and locals, but bring the antacids!

While staying in Salem, I stopped in this old fashioned diner made from an old train car, the way they used to be, and had a really wonderful breakfast. The bacon was crips and not greasy, nor were the home fries greasy. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly, not runny, and the service was quick - I will definitely go... More

Great place, one of your classic rail car type diners. Food is very good, and the other guest are great to talk too.

This place is ok at best. Food is mediocre and it is a dump inside. You leave smelling like grease.

My wife and I enjoyed a very reasonably priced breakfast at the Salem Diner. Parking was limited and we had to wait to get a table, but the service was very efficient and friendly. The food wasn't too fancy, but it was good. The diner itself is older but pretty well maintained for its age. Not perfectly clean, but what... More
