Sometimes better than others. Would like to give a better rating but some items are better than others, and to inconsistent. Baked goods are a safe bet. The one tiny bathroom is a minus. But this is the kind of place that's worth a shot. A little pricey.

Everything at Maven is excellent. Great ingredients, well-prepared and a Santa Fe Favorite. I have ordered expensive $50, but the best birthday cakes ever for my daughter's special party. If you sit down for lunch you can watch the bakers making pasty thru a window.

I keep returning and have yet to be disappointed with a menu item. While dining, it is great entertainment watching the bakers work. I especially recommend the Mayan hot chocolate and any pastry.

Service is lovely - space is "interesting" an old warehouse ... lots of choices, but not everything is good. Portions are huge - not necessary but they are. The health conscious would suffer greatly here even with the healthy entrees. I had poached eggs with green chili - tasty and ample but even that was really too much. My niece... More

What a surprise to walk into the tea room built in the middle of the warehouse, in a warehouse district! We came for a late lunch and noticed others in for proper tea. It was lovely.

Good soups! Great Baked Goods! Always crowded because it is so good but well worth it. Nice variety on the menu and in the bakery case.

Chocolate Maven has awesome breakfast and brunch options, one of the best in Santa Fe. They use fresh, natural organic ingredients and free range meats. They have vegetarian and vegan options. Whether I go healthy and have the tofu scramble, with black beans, spinach and awesome salsa, or go decadent with banana walnut pancakes, their food is always amazing. They... More

The Chocolate Maven is THE PLACE in Santa Fe to order a cake for that special occasion. My son was here for his birthday and I ordered their "Raspberry Almond Cake'" which is a French Vanilla cake with crushed raspberry filling, almond buttercream icing and decorated with dark chocolate ganache drizzle and toasted almond slices. He said it was the... More
