I'm not certain they're open any longer. The last two times we tried to eat there it was closed. A great loss if it's true, the food was great!
They have an exceptional chef that prepares the best appetizers. We have made our meal from several of the appetizers before with a beer (they have great draft beers). The prices are a little high, but worth it.
This place sounded intriguing except when you looked at the website. It hasn't been updated since 2011. Driving by and it looks closed. My stars are meant to not hurt or help but I want people to call before going. I think it is closed.
A group of us enjoyed lunch at O Eating House and ordered a variety of things from the menu including the special of the day, Cioppino, which was full of shellfish and fish, various salads, a delicious pasta dish with bacon. The flavors were rich and well-seasoned. We missed out on orders for drinks - water was served- and dessert... More
Living in the Pojoaque area and whenever in need of a nicer, non-New Mexican meal and not feeling like driving to Santa Fe, the O' Eating House has been our "go-to" restaurant for years now. Its dedication to authenticity, originality and excellent service is worthy of our frequent patronage and we found great comfort last night on a bone chilling... More
O got a 4.5/5 review in Pasatiempo in Nov., so we thought we would try it out. The reality is more like 1.5/4. We have had several meals and have always been pleased with the variety of fresh food made in such creative combinations. The beet and cheese pizza the other night was just one example.
The chef has assembled a good range of dishes, from wood fired pizza to squash blossoms. The flavors all challenged the palate and made for great dining. It is about a 15 minute drive north of Santa Fe and worth the effort to get there if you want to stretch your ideas of southwestern cuisine.
Had stuffed squash blossoms ... Yummy!! Dog friendly too.
