We had been in Luray Caverns and needed lunch! Cheked here and saw the good reviews here and wanted to give it a try. Well worth it!! The food was very good, we where a party of 6 and everyone was pleased! We loved the hardware look and the relaxed atmosphere! Will be back if we go up there again:)... More

Walked in for something to drink and ended up staying for dinner. The sandwiches were very tasty, and really enjoyed the good selection of local microbrews. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was excellent. Wish we had a place like this in DC because it was a perfect cafe.

We were a group from Maryland celebrating a JMU graduation! What a perfect place for our special day! The food and desserts were delicious. The service was pleasant and readily available. A hidden treasure! Thank you.

This restaurant is fun from the moment you walk in the door. It's located in a former hardware store and they've kept a lot of the flooring and huge storage cabinets from the store. We all had one of their sandwiches (I had the chicken salad) and everyone was very pleased with the choices. I'm picky about chicken salad and... More

I loved the atmosphere of this coffee shop/ deli. If I lived locally, I would definitely come back for a cup of coffee and to people-watch in the corner. During my visit I ordered the Winchester Panini - which was awesome. The sandwiches automatically come with chips or a pasta salad but I paid a small upcharge for a side... More

It is really good homemade food in an old building with great decor. The service is wonderful and personal. Highly recommend the homemade pies. Wish it was closer to home.

Delicious chocolate chip pecan pie! Great space to work in on a road trip (free wi-fi greatly appreciated). Busy and vibrant, highly recommend this place and will make a point of returning on my next trip.

For us little Aussies in the USA, finding good coffee is a rare treat in a cafe or restaurant. However, my wife and I stumbled across a gorgeous gem of a cafe called Gathering Grounds in Luray Virginia. They actually make "flat white" coffees, and 9 out of 10 ones at that. Latte and other normal coffees we find around... More

We were drawn to this restaurant by the decor. The inside is amazing decor with antiques and local and french flare. Loved the quiche and coffee. Service was very friendly and excellent. My daughter enjoyed an ice cream soda float. I felt we stepped back in time with such great service, atmosphere and good old ice cream float.
