If you are in the area, make sure you stop by this place to eat and enjoy the many flavors and dishes the menu provides. The prices are good for the food you get. The server was super and willing to assist in making our order just what we were looking for.

We had a 30 minute wait for a table so we went to the bar for some drink, they were all really good but unfortunately they were usual expensive restaurant drinks. The bar tender was nice and good at this job. When we got to the table we saw that the menu was like 20 pages, and everything sounded good!... More

Based on the reviews I was expecting an amazing experience. Our waitress wasn't rude but she wasn't friendly. The clam chowder was amazing but the buffalo calamari was too spicy and the coconut shrimp was just boring. We also had the lava cake which also was nothing great. The check ended up being too much for the average quality of... More

THe menu has something for everyone-even if you're trying to watch your weight. It is fun inside, clean, and has friendly service. Get there early because sometimes it's tough to get a table. I love sitting near the open windows at lunch and people watching.

Was really glad the company was good because the food fell way short. I shouldn't say that all of us were unhappy. The two that ordered sandwiches said they were fine and the three that ordered fish were very disappointed and that is bad when you have a place in the middle of Newport and they get all seafood orders... This is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Newport. Their menu covers everything from burgers to lobster and somehow they manage to make every entree really well. I love the grilled swordfish, the nachos, and their burgers. It's definitely a busy restaurant so be prepared for some noise. It's also three levels with Barton the first and second... More

This place was amazing, every time we walked by or drove by we saw this place since it looks like a huge brick building from the outside. Well on our last day there we stopped by and as soon as we walked in we went upstairs ( you can dine down or upstairs) the place is decorated like the tropical,... More

the Red Parrot had a great location close to the water in downtown Newport. The service was good. Atmosphere was really nice, but it was really noisy due to all the people. The food was amazing! Since we had a party of ten, I was able to sample a few different dishes. The lobster nachos were unique and tasty. The... More

I've been here many times and go every time I'm in Newport. It didn't disappoint and we even got to sit by the windows on the second floor and people watch while we ate. Nice cool breeze coming in off of the ocean. I had the coconut shrimp... my favorite :)

The Red Parrot Restaurant is conveniently located in the heart of the action in Newport. Deceptively large, the place has 3 floors for dining - all with a nice decor: wood floors fireplaces, and bar service on the first and second floors. The menu is extensive with about 20 pages to look over - apps, seafood, steaks, ribs, pizza, salads,... More
