My food was excellent. It could be that they were showing out because of the large number of delegates that travelled during the time I was there. I did past by this place because it looked "iffy," but I was pleasantly suprised. I've attached a picture of my food. (I do that when I travel) Hope it works for you....

Saw the ad for the $14.99 steak and lobster dinner. Should have know that you get what you paid for. Don't even think it was worth $14! The steak was a thin small piece of beef and the lobster tail was barely edible. My son was still hungry after dinner so we went and got him a plate meal from...

We went to this restaurant after reading great reviews in Hawaii Handbook.
When we saw it, we wondered. It was very dated decor, and looked a bit like a plush diner from the 60's. Padded booths, formica tables, etc.
The food was very basic.. no garnish or sauces; the atmosphere was funereal: no music, waitresses who were well past retirement...
