Slow service. Had reservations and sat for almost 2 hours without food. I am sure they forgot about us. We wont be back. This affected our entire evening because we had other things planned that we missed.

We were one of tHe last tables on a slow night (Sunday) and they were out of several menu (both beef dishes) and wine items. Most of our group ordered the specials - salmon and halibut dishes. Food was overall very good, but they did have some trouble getting one of the halibut dishes to us - they had misordered... More

Dining here was a great experience. Be sure to make a reservation. We walked in and were very blessed to arrive just as a cancellation was called in.

Based in reviews and overall ranking, we decided to stop in for lunch. Unfortunately the oil in the deep fryer had cooled to a non-optimal temperature to fry fish and the beef tenderloin salad was comprised of mostly pork in the form of bacon. Lucky for me I like bacon, thus the almost non existent 4 cubic cm pieces of... More

I expected a great meal based on the reviews but got a mediocre one. I ordered a drink before dinner which had little or no alcohol. The special rib eye steak was very tough and full of gristle. However, they were very friendly and were obviously very busy the night we were there. While I cannot recommend it the manager/owner... More

In the past year or so we have enjoyed fine dinning in London, Paris, Tuscany, Barcelona, Maui, Nantucket, and NYC. It's always a pleasure to come home to Walla Walla and the South Fork Grill, where we dine a couple of times a month. It isn't just good, it is as good as can be had anywhere else, and all... More

The food at South Fork Grill is great. Plus it's always service with a SMILE! And a personal connection. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Not stuffy. And if you sit outside they have heated lamps. And blankets too. This is a family-owned restaurant and that's one of my favorite things about it. I can go all gussied-up or casual... More

Although I have been to S.F.G. in the past and enjoyed it (about 1 yr ago) this time it was bad. I had the appetizer ribs for lunch with fries my wife had the wrap. The ribs were so bad I did not even finish them, they tasted freezer burnt, if there was rub intended to be on them they... More
