Had lunch here. We shared the “daily” omlette and the Poached Ruby Trout BLT sandwich. Both were excellent. The accompanying French fries were outstanding. The finishing coffee and espresso were very good too. Great service, location and atmosphere. We don’t like "chain" restaurants, so this was a great find. Shame we only stayed one day. Would have loved to try... More

We went there for lunch and had a great time. The wine list was impressive although we bought just glasses of wine (we were working a conference table). The goat cheese appetizer with asparagus was delicious, and the French Onion Soup was tasty. Eve the French Castle burger our friend had was a work of art. The Tarte Fine and... More

We were coming in from about an hour and a half away, just a quick weekend get away trip. I found the menu for this place and wanted so badly to try the risotto. When we arrived we didn't have a reservation, and the hostess had just filled her last table. There was however a corner table by the bar... More

My wife and I had a very good dinner, and in particular I would call out Jean-Robert's always excellent sense of flavor. I think one of his hallmarks is interesting use of ingredients to create interesting, balanced and nuanced flavors. The service was excellent as well. My only gripe is that my food temperatures weren't right. Both my appetizer (which... More

Jean-Robert's Table now the best dining in Cincinnati (apart from Jeff Ruby's Carlo & Johnney) since we lost those 5-star venues. Superb cuisine.

We had a wonderful, romantic meal. The food was glorious. I started with the stuffed squab wrapped in pastry. The pastry was perfect and the squab was something I have never had but loved the rich, gamey flavor. My wife had the oxtail ravioli which we had read was a top dish. It was very good, but the pasta was... More

John Robert opened this restaurant in order to be a bit less "high end" than his Pigall's restaurant was. While the prices have dropped a bit, I would say the food is still just as wonderful and well prepared as it was in Pigalls. The decor of the restaurant is so inviting and cozy, it's really gorgeous. The service is... More

I have eaten here three times and have enjoyed my meal each time. I had eaten four or five times at his old place, Jean-Ro's Bistro, and also liked that. The food in this place is similar, but a little more tricked out. The service has been very good. I'm not so keen on the paintings in the dining room.... More

Jean-Robert is a true French man, who did his cuisine classes in best French resturants. His carte is very fine cuisine, with French specialties (snails, frogs legs, etc.) and more international dishes. Very gourmet. Service friendly and effective. Warm and nice atmosphere.
