Had a wonderful meal with some lovely wine to accompany the food. Wendy and Alan were the perfect hosts.

Love it here - been a patron since they opened and so happy that it's here to stay. Wendy and Alan are polite and attentive and the food is wonderful. Good quality and excellent attention to detail. Private parties always warmly catered for and large servings. Well done you two, see you later!

Went here based in the positive Tripsdvisor reviews and certainly wasn't disappointed. Very attentive host (but not overly) - just wanted to make sure we enjoyed our lunch. Food was tremendous.

Went to Winchesters at the weeekend for the first time, couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome or better service. Was offered tasters of wine to help decide what I wanted. Food was delish, real home cooked food none of that pre packed rubbish. Selection of wine was good and menu varied. Will be back again and again.....

Food is ok but has a small menu and a bit overpriced for a lunchtime in my opinion. May pop back at some time for a snack as it's conveniently located in Stow, but for a full-blown meal for 2 I think I can get better value and ambience elswhere. Owners are very welcoming which is nice.

Fairly limited menu, but good use of local produce. Something a little different in Stowmarket. A good place for ladies who lunch! But beware, it is very expensive.

Visited last night in the rain and after being to the cinema – great welcome, very friendly. If you haven’t yet been, do give it a whirl, it is just the ‘lift’ that Stowmarket needs. We will go back, but driving and drinking just doesn’t mix so we will pick our moment.
