Had a really great breakfast at UMU. The staff were really lovely, welcoming and helpful to boot. Good coffee and hot chocolates. Pancakes with glazed caramelized bananas were a real hit with the kids, as was the eggs florentine. Big breakfast was big enough to share. Best way to start your morning in 'Coro'.

Excellent restaurant in Main Street of town. Wide range of excellent fresh foods served punctually by extremely friendly and efficient staff. Not a large establishment and booking advised especially weekends as very popular with the local community.

We really enjoyed our meal here especially the fish chouder. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of meals. Free WiFi an added bonus.

Excellent food, really nice choices on the menu, lots of outdoor seating, and travel tips from the staff too! Can't ask for more than that!

We stopped here for a coffee on our way through Coromandel and ending up staying for lunch. This is a great little cafe with friendly staff, reasonably priced food and a comfortable but unpretentious atmosphere. That it should be used by locals and tourists alike bears testimony to it's prices, quality and service...and the toasted Club Sandwiches were great too!

Hi I visited Coromandel for a family wedding. We called into Umu one night with our three kids and had a great pizza and chowder. We got a side order with the pizza and it was more than enough for two adults. My daughters chowder was very tasty and filling. We went back again for cake and milkshake.

Great service and excellent food. There were 2 vegetarian options - the one I had was great! Lovely location.
