The "Boatman" it's appearance is deceaving but do not be put off by this, just take a walk off the sidewalk and you will be pleasantly suprised. The staff are wonderful and the food is cooked fresh not sat on the side for hours waiting to be served up.

went here a couple of times the waitress is really freindly and runs around all night the food is first class and very cheap the staff were great we went twice to this restaurant it is not fine dining but what you get is delicious

Just back from batu ferringhi and ate in the boatman several time fot both breakfast and dinner , May and annie along with all the staff as good as ever cheerful nothing to much trouble and always willing advise on food choice, the food , always cooked to order and worth the wait,, Would not hesitate to eat ther again... The staff are lovely. Try the sizzling noodles or the Yeung Chow fried rice & sweet & sour chicken, for me they were the stand out dishes.

About 10 mins walk from Bayview Beach Resort in Batu Feringgi. Close on Mondays. Yummy food and friendly people.
