Always loved coming back here. The food is consistently good. Get there at 11:30 so you can line up - there are no reservations. If you remember, book a taxi or car for your return to town or take a bus.

The menu is unique! We enjoyed the Red Beans with Portuguese Sausage which had a wonderful smoky taste. The tomatoes were so red and like beefsteaks you would grow in your own garden! The Grilled Quail was delicious and not available anywhere else in Macau or Hong Kong, that we saw! The Sea Bream was perfectly grilled and tasty, though...

overrated food , average service, poor wine list tha whole lot saved by the atmosphere ...
We were greeted by a mangy dog after a 15 minutes taxi ride to the asss end of Macau (seriously, there was NOTHING to see once you got there). It was run down and dirty. The food was average. There clearly is/was a lot of history here based on what has been written on the walls and has been an...

Fernando's Restaurant at Hac Sa beach is strongly recommended if you have worked up a large appetite. They have an outdoor bar area which is simple, almost rustic but has great atmosphere. There are two dining areas - one at the front of the restaurant and the other at the back just a little behind and to the side of...

Great chicken, chips, Sangria and cheese! So tasty! Restaurant is really popular so best get there before 12pm if you want to go for lunch. There is no air-conditioning so it does get hot, service is average, but the food is amazing - simple but very tasty.
Despite the negative reviews I read on Tripadvisor I wanted to experience for myself what Fernando's had to offer.
My friends and I arrived at about 1:00pm on a Sunday, which was also the Labor Day Holiday. It was very crowded and we had to put our name on a list as there were no tables available.
There was however...

An eclectic restaurant. Not for those who want to be pampered by the staff, but for serious eaters who judge a restaurant purely by the food it serves. The roast suckling pig is like no other. The grilled chicken is second to none, served on a bed of fries. Don't miss the house salad for its simplicity and clean, fresh...

Couldn't decide whether to go due to the obscure location. We took 2 taxis for the 6 of us.
The place is old and the folks sitting near the entrance/exit pointed us inside. We got a place in the back room where all the action was. Plenty of foreigners. Noisy. Basic tables and chairs.
We ordered the suckling pig first...

We caught a bus to Fernando's from central Macau. An interesting journey in itself and our expectations for lunch were high considering the reports we had read.
The building is run down, the greeting from a surly waitress did not auger well.
I had the Drunken steak which was very tasty but overpriced. My daughter had veal which was definitely...
