Without doubt this little restaurant tucked away in the cobbled streets offers a fabulous atmosphere for dinner. But frankly the food is really ordinary. I think a few reviewers have allowed their memories of the ambience to cloud their review of the food.

Excellent fish dishes , ate here about 3 times out of the fortnight and never failed to please lovely

Through the streets to the top of the old town heading for medical centre. Set directly on the old cobble street maroon chairs and sign awesome food not cheap and not expensive but the location is true Greek.

This is one restaurant we visit evrey year. Sometimes 2 or 3 times. Fantastic food and real friendly waiters who always welcome you back to the island. Every year we always head for the little 2 seated table indoors rather than the courtyard tables. So wonderful sitting listening to the well chosen CD's and eating fantastic food. See you next... Saw many reviews for 1901 voted the islands top Restaraunt blah blah blah....... What we actually experienced was excellent service really super starters then drastically very average mains... Quite a quaint set up but not really anything to write home about...
