Elephant Hill always offers excellant food and nine times out of ten good service. The surroundings are not to everyones taste as it is quite austere. Sit outside if possible as lovely views, though can by quite windy.

Don't let the green almost shed appearance of the winery put you off. The flawless service at Elephant Hill made us feel comfortable right from the start. The menu is excellent, and suggested matching wines skillfully selected. Ambience first rate and a delightful experience all round. The swordfish was superb!

My son took me for my birthday dinner to this winery. We sat outside under an umbrella beside the water feature and looked out over the winery. I enjoyed the conifer of duck sooooo much that I would go back again just for that experience. The wine was excellent and the cheeseboard to finish off our meal was very tasty.

We had an excellent meal here in the most beautiful setting. Well worth the 20 min drive from Havelock North.
