However, we were warmly welcomed by the restaurant manager and promptly shown to our table with a spectacular view. The restaurant offers an ‘old’ and ‘new’ menu – they both looked wonderful. We chose from the ‘new’ menu and were delighted with our meals and accompanying local wine. La Locanda is really a hilltop escape – a renewed pristine small village with an offering of very nice apartments and an excellent restaurant.
