"We are spoiled when it comes to food and service. Argentina, and especially Patagonia, is great for parillas and empenadas, but after 4 weeks we thought it is hard to find fine cuisine, yet made with simple ingredients as you can find in France and Italy.
At Pirque, we found (at least so far) th..."e best and finest cuisine in Argentina. Gaby, who is very nice and who will teach you Spanish with her good English, cooks wonderful traditional Patagonian dishes. The Trout with Morilles can't be described, not to mention fresh seasonal garden salads and her SPECTACULAR Apfel Strudel desert!!!
When you arrive at Pirque, you are welcomed with lavander scent, inside it is perfectly cozy with an alpine skiing restaurant flavour! Almost feels like home (Switzerland!). We could not end this review without mentioning Gaby's husband who put the best music while dining!
Thank you and Enjoy!

"Pirque's new facility provides the fortunate visitor an overwhelming view of the surrounding mountains while browsing the palate-tempting dishes on the menu. Gustavo's and Gabriela's warm welcome is only matched by the superlative meals prepared in Pirque under the demanding supervision of Gabriela...." Once your dish is served, your senses will become alive as ever! Your sight will hesitate between the colours of Pirque's dishes and the marvellous scenery in front of you. Your palate will discover new flavours as Gabriela's delicate recipes come to life with each bite. This is as close as cooking gets to poetry or to your soul.
Take your time to wait for your order; your patience will be handsomely rewarded. Enjoy the view with a glass of wine, while Gabriela let lose her art in the kitchen. You will not end being a customer of Pirque, you will fall under Gabriela's spell! Bon appetite to the lucky ones who will cross the threshold of Pirque! Thank you Gabriela and Gustavo!

"My husband and I were steered to Pirque by the host of our B&B. It was such a delicious and charming experience that we returned 2 more evenings during our stay in the El Bolson area. Being there in 2013 found us dining at their new restaurant, due to a forest fire in which they lost their origi..."nal restaurant and home.
Although dinner hour in Argentina is around 9:00-11:00 p.m., we liked to arrive earlier to enjoy our view during daylight hours. After being seated, ordering, and pouring a glass of wine, it was a perfect spot to stroll outside and savor the setting above a beautiful valley.
Gabby is a gourmet chef, and did not disappoint us during our 3 visits! Two of her trout recipes were our favorites, although she has a wonderful variety of specialties on her menu. Her salads were light, refreshing, and fresh from her garden. Although we don't normally choose deserts, her crepes for dessert were a perfect ending for us.
The personal attention from Gabby, her husb...
