"I've been to Clovelly several times but had never actually stopped at the Tea Rooms until about two weeks ago, when my partner and I decided to have lunch there. There is a lovely little garden around the side; fortunately as it was warm we decided to eat outside. The garden offers a stunning view o..."f the sea!
The menu has a lot to offer for adults and children, such as traditional cream teas, homemade cakes and pies, and hot baguettes. I'd say there is something for everyone; I had no difficulty finding something and I am a fussy eater! We opted for baguettes, which were lovely warmed and filled with fresh salad. I only wish I'd tried some of the homemade cookies or cakes!
Service was fairly quick, considering the tea room was quite busy and the ladies that worked there were friendly and chatty. Definitely worth stopping by for a proper tea room experience!

"My hubby and I stopped here for a cream tea to break the hike up Clovelly Hill. The tea room sits perfectly half way. We were fortunate enough firstly to have chosen a lovely sunny day for our visit and secondly to find a free table in the garden. Let me tell you the view is unrivalled. You could ju..."st bottle it. And the cream tea was scummy. The scones were warm and doughy and just delightful. The service was quick and friendly. Definitely one of my highlights of our Devon holiday.
