  "Dropped in by mistake really was out for Sunday morning drive and went to barkers at earls Barton where we asked the ladies where to go for a coffee, this is where they suggested and after a little wrong turns we arrived at the beck worth emporium it was a real surprise did not expect such a lovely ..."restaurant service was quick and all the meals looked very nice indeed so we decided to stop for lunch we had the Sunday roast which was indeed very tasty and looking at the menu would not hesitate to go back if in the area again the afternoon teas looks to die for so might have to make a special trip !   "Shall we stop here was said with a sense of, we really do need to stop somewhere soon but this place looks like its seen better days. From the signs out the front to the worn white car park lines it was not a place which encouraged the casual visitor. The first impression inside was not much better..." and as I approached the bar it looked unmanned. Within seconds however Paul Neale the Woolpacks manager was there with a welcoming smile and explaining we could have food in the bar or in the restaurant. We chose the restaurant where again we were cheerfully received by the waitress who remained attentive throughout. The food was good pub portions, and the dishes we had were packed with flavour. There was nothing subtle about any of the dishes we chose and a pure food critic would I’m sure feel the ingredients had been lumped into the dishes with abandon.
