  "I'm from Italy and travel around the UK a lot on business so I stay in many hotels & eat out a great deal. The pub was in a good location for all transport links and happened to be across from the hotel which I stayed in. I'm glad to say the staff who greeted and waited on me whilst in the pub wer..."e a lot more welcoming & more friendly than the staff from the holiday Inn who were a bit on the frosty side. It was great for a business meeting around the large table we were allocated and there wasn't anyone who was loud also the music was just in the back ground. Food was great and choices to suit all price bands. I had the venison which was tender & cook just how I requested it to be. Service was with a smile and friendly and we were looked she looked after us well. Atmosphere was good with a lovely log fire glowing which gave a good ambiance. " More >

  "I have been with family many times, and although sometimes busy, they do their best to accomodate you, food is always good, and hvae a lovely garden/play area for kids and adults, can easily spend an afternoon in their, and with the footy or other sports on tV, this always a nice distraction only ..."minor negative is the new pool table is not really required, and in way of nice seating area arond TV, i would reccommend any family to go and try it " More >
