"Visited here today for Sunday lunch and was not disappointed. The only downside was the heating in the restaurant, although it had an open fire near the door when you go in, where we were seated near the back it was quite chilly and both my wife and I had to keep our jackets on during the meal.
Fo..."r starters we had stuffed mushrooms and egg mayonaisse, both were delicious. For Mains we had a Roast Beef and a Stuffed chicken with a roast potato on each, both were great and the side orders were massive portions of carrots, cabbage in bacon, mash potatoes (enough for 3 people). For dessert we went for a Pavlova and a Sherry trifle and once again we were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and attentive, they were also quick in service although the place was not too busy.
All for £15.95 per head and we left the restaurant stuffed. If they could get the back end of the restaurant heated then we would have not had a single complaint about our visit.

"This feels like you are back in your Granny's house for lunch :) There are so many different cakes and buns - oh go on! and then the pies and soups come in big hearty portions. I could almost hear my own Grandmother saying to eat up; I looked too thin, hahaha.
This isn't fine dining, it certainly..." isn't contemporary or slick but if you want to taste 'proper' Northern Irish food this is a great place for you and it is not expensive.
Very good coffee now which is an extra.
Today (Saturday) there was an afternoon tea - tea or coffee plus cake, scone or bun = only £2.50! We were so full and happy.
