  "arrived on a Sunday evening without a reservation, this wasn't a problem we were told. after 15 minutes we were told a table was available but if we wished to wait a few more minutes we could have a better table. we waited - good decision, as per previous reviews we got a table just back from the wi..."ndow with a fantastic view over the city. yes there is a park 100m away with the same view but that does not serve fabulous food. The meat was superb and the service was excellent. very friendly polite people throughout. not the cheapest place in town but this was somewhere special. with regards to taster dishesd being placed on the table at extra cost if taken - this is Lisbon - this is the norm all over town, I don't particularly like this practice but it's no big deal. no one rushed us to leave & the place was busy, even the chefs took time to speak with us.
