After spending a sunny afternoon in the beer garden and a few games of pool indoors, we then tried the restaurant for food. The staff were very friendly and very versatile: they were more than happy to adapt the contents of a meal for the individual diner (not liking mushrooms, they were willing to substitute for onion rings with my steak) This pub is only a short distance from the Weymouth Bay Haven holiday park and is well worth a visit for good food, good drinks and a great atmosphere.   "We visited the ship inn for a fish and chip lunch whilst on a holiday in May. We needed a table for 8, and a high chair. The waitress pushed tables together for us and found us a high chair. The food was tasty, hot and quick. The waitress was very friendly and talked to the little ones in our group ..."and we felt special and looked after.
