Food was good but portions were small, two of us had the stew which was good, but we had to ask for extra potatoes as portion was small.   "We stopped in The Good Room on both legs of a Dublin to Kerry return journey. It was the perfect stop. Right at the entrance to Adare village with thatched roofs and nice frontages all around, and with on-street parking not too hard to come by. The food was hearty and nourishing lunchtime fare - ..."quiches, salads, sandwiches and wraps, soup, grilled items, some more substantial plates. Everything we saw and ate looked fresh and good, and what we tasted was excellent. Service was really friendly and prompt. The place was busy, but tables turned over so there was not long queue.
