  "I visted on 18th May 2013. It was misty & cold outside, came in to a lovely warm fire and comfortable surroundings. I ordered the mussels (€8.45) and then the duck (€21.50). Both were very nice and there was no rush between courses. Mussels came relatively qucikly and the duck followed about..." 10-15 minutes after i had finished my starter, which was ideal really. It is well staffed and servers are all well experienced. The place was really busy and it looked like there were a lot of bookings. I would recommend this place for a nice meal out if your not too worried about the cost, i felt some of the dishes were expensive (fish dishes) but perhaps your paying for freshness. Overall yes i would definitely eat here again, teh thing with Ballybunion is that there is not a whole lot of choice when it comes down to nice food. " More >
