"Walking in the front door feels like you've stepped back in time. The reception area has a whole office attached and feels extremely nostalgic.
The decor is antique Canadiana, which I think is pretty great. Old sleds, farming implements, and antique china all over the walls. The inside feels like..." an old barnhouse.
Our server was great; he was an older gent. At times things felt a little too formal, and we were a little uncomfortable (I'm not used to this level of service).
Make sure you try the ceasar salad with Mennonite bacon. I also hear that the white chocolate cheesecake is unbelievable.

"Spent the afternoon at the Antiques Market and decided beforehand to have dinner at the Aberfoyle Mill. Made reservations on line and got a prompt response from John. Arrived at the Mill before the restaurant was open but were warmly welcomed and had drinks. The staff couldn`t have been nicer or ..."more attentive. The food was excellent..a starter of roasted tomato soup that was piping hot, then prime rib with seasonal veg and delicious mashed potatoes. It was all excellent, relaxing and well worth the trip from Brampton.m

I opted for one of the daily specials, in this case, Artic Char. The fish was delicious- moist and cook properly. The skin was crisp and a tasty treat. The fish rested on a bed of asparagus on a small bed of flavoured rice. This was surrounded by just enough of a very delicious ratatouile.
Service was friendly, well timed and attentive without being "cloying" a problem in som...
