Before you visit Palawan, you expect food ..."there to be special, like anywhere else in the tropics, once in Palawan its generally a disappointment, boring, tasteless, dull. Cad Lao food is some of the best food I have tasted. You will do well to eat better than here. Seafood platter for 2 was amazing, as were the salads, as was everything. I think its partially french owned, they are passionate about food and its tells. Not crazy pricey either. We did the boat trip with Jamel, he is really cool, definitely worth doing the trip, its fun, good value, and you realise that when you see the people on other trips looking bored/crammed in on boats.
