"Firstly, I actually went to the Hachiken branch, not this one, but anyway it's the same chain.
Great sushi!! Really really great quality, and the toppings are quite generous. Better than Hanamaru.. It's a shame that they only have restaurants that are quite 'out of the way' of the city centre. Th..."e menu is very broad and a little more exciting than most other kaiten sushi menus that basically all sell the same thing. If you can't speak Japanese it might be a problem as the menu is inaccessible otherwise.
ALSO, if it is within one day of your birthday you get a free 'kobore ikura gunkan' which is basically an ikura gunkan with something like 3 times the normal amount of topping, and by coincidence I went the day after my birthday so I was quite delighted (especially as this would usually be 515yen!)
The downside to this place is that it is expensive compared to other kaiten sushi restaurants, probably more so than Hanamaru. It doesn't help that there was a kaiten sushi about a ...

"One of the big names for crab (Kani) cuisine, a must try for visitors in Sapporo. We decided to visit its branch at Susukino (one block from Susukino subway station) over Kani Shogan after consulting our local hotel reception. It was a huge multi storey building full of Japanese style private dining..." rooms. Everything was about crabs here, from coasters to chopstick rests to plates and decor.

Just need to decide on your budget.
Assorted crab sashimi, crab tofu, boiled king crab legs, baked crab meat in shell, grilled king crab legs, crab dumplings (Siew Mai), crab rolls and crab sushi bowl (shirashi) were all very delicious. We had a feast!!
Prices were reasonable for the amount and qual...

"this restaurant has 3 branches in Sapporo, all in streets parallel to each other. We went to the one near Susukino station. It closes pretty late, which was good since we were looking for a place that was still open at around 10pm. Hotel staff recommended this place to us.
Menu is very simple, e..."asy to order. Prices are reasonable, too. There will be a bit of a wait, not too long tho but then maybe because we went at odd hours? Once you're seated, there will be a small charcoal grill placed in front of you, topped with onions and leeks and a big piece of fat in the middle. Then comes the raw lamb, which you will grill yourself. Interesting to note that the lamb didn't have that "lamb taste," which some people in my group liked. I liked the feel of the place, we were the only non-Japanese there at the time so it felt pretty authentic. And I always liked how restos/bars in Japan occupy small spaces--feels less commercialized and touristy.
It tasted sooooo good. I love lamb, and i ...
