Upon arrival there were several young girls 8-10 years old running around the restaurant. It was very disturbing and we seriously thought about leaving. I asked the bus boy if he could keep th..."em in the other room and he said he would try. Well, they finally all left with their dads I presume and it turned out to be a very enjoyable evening. The food was delicious, We all ordered something different and we all truly enjoyed what we ordered. When it was time to pay the bill our waiter came over to us and said the owner was comping our entire meal and drinks because of the commotion with the young girls upon our arrival. Now, that is customer service at it's finest. The next time we travel to Telluride we will be having dinner at Rustico's again. " More >

  "Lovely and elegant atmosphere, with a mountain rustic charm. Great friendly service. I visited in the off-season on a value menu night...limited options and to be honest not very impressive. I suspect the chef may be on vacation out of season? I mean my dinner was tasty but simple...nothing to wow...". Something I could have cooked up. I asked for the regular menu and they were not serving that. Whoever is preparing the food I was not impressed.... Gave 4 stars because of how cozy and welcoming it was.
