We started with calamari and au gratin cauliflower apps - both were generous potions, served hot and too delicious (is this possible?)! On to entrees . . . Everyone who knows us, knows we're VERY particular about our food. I have a list of "can't-haves" and "don't likes." Among the cant-haves is garlic, grilled food and black pepper. However, I visited with a friend last week for lunch for the first time since they remodeled after the hurricanes, and I was pleasantly surprised. The remodeling job is very nice, clean and casual, and the entire staff was friendly and efficient. I was told they had a new chef, and the menu and food quality is much improved. I had the shrimp tacos appetizer, which was delicious and filling enough for a meal, and my friend enjoyed his stuffed sole.
