  "This restaurant's best feature is it's location - directly on Fort Myers Beach. We ate inside, but the beach-side is open in good weather, and the view is spectacular, especially at sunset. This is a very casual restaurant, as most are in the area, and what a treat to be on the beach! The grouper ..."was good, but our appetizer of tortilla chips and salsa was not great - poor quality chips without much flavor. Drinks could be improved a bit - they were small and rather weak. But the service was very good. If not for the beach location/view, I would have given Junkanoo only 3 stars, as the food and beverage could use some improvement.   "My gorgeous wife and I ate here Sunday after a great day at the beach. It's across the road from the beach and their parking lot was almost full. They have a nice deck upstairs overlooking the area and everyone was enjoying their drinks and meals. (service slow but again, this is Florida) the waiter..."s were all very nice and the beers were cold $2.50 for a draft in a small cup. $4.50 for a bottle. (seems high for the area) and what's with the small cup? I ordered another one right away. Anyhow, I had the fish taco's. around $13.00 with fries, They were fantastic. My wife had some kind of sandwich wrap that was also awesome. So the food is great the beers are weird and the service slow. Will I be back? you bet. I love these dive bars on the beach. Typical TVs outside. (they could use a little background music just my opinion) Also, go out on the deck if you can, the restaurant downstairs seems a little dark, and it was almost empty.
