Showed up for 6.30 reservation, best table in the House, covered with Rose Petals, and greeted by entire (almost)..." staff for congratulations. This was all orchestrated by Jean who did a fantastic job. We were totally blown away by the friendliness. service and the food / drink. Kristi was the waitress and totally awesome, we talked food, classic cars and motor cycles. Great choice on the Cabernet and it is now our go to wine. Matt is the manager and we talked fishing, food and good times. And two were in Jacksonville Beach including Metro Diner. This place was less than five minutes from my hotel so gett..."ing here was fast and easy. My two visits for breakfast included bacon, sausage, waffle, eggs, grits, and toast. The grits were cooked perfect. Many places are not. Fantastic food and fresh. The two servers I had were Chris and Kaley. Both super nice young ladies. Bottom line a great place. Tip: Get here early and avoid the rush. Of course that's with any restaurant. The wine list is ample and reasonably priced, and the service was excellent (attentive, enthusiastic and well-informed).
