"I've lived in Harford County for nearly 13 years and I had no idea this restaurant existed 20 miles north of me in a little town called North East. I found about this place once again through Man Vs Food and had to take a little trip to try it out. The meals were absolutely delicious, the service de..."lightful, and the scenery was actually stunning. We got seated outside so we had a nice view of the old school streets and we had a fantastic meal. The filet was delicious and the potatoes were just right! Great job guys and thanks again to Man Vs Food!

"We have been to North East, MD many times to get famous Maryland crabs. The Port House Grill exceeded our expectations as my wife and I had the best crab cakes we have ever eaten. The food is spectacular in this "no frills" atmosphere. I would not go for a romantic dinner but absolutely would recomm..."end this if you want the best food at a reasonable price. The potato salad and French fries were home made and delicious also. There is no wait staff to order from so you just go to the counter and order yourself and pay. The food is then brought to your table. I would suggest they try and add a bar and institute waiter service. This would be a huge bonus to go along with the great food and change the dynamics of the dining experience. Without trying to consult on what they should do, we truly enjoyed the food and would highly recommend the Port House Grill to anyone wising to get great food at competitive prices.

"There is a popular bar portion known for Oysters (shooters are wonderful in the winter,) raw and baked, and a restaurant. Food is fine but I always have mixed feelings about my experiences. The menu is so large and varied that...well, make of that what you usually do. I really like the duck and its ..."accompanying sweet potato cake. But, chairs are so heavy you can't move them, their coffee comes in soup bowls and my "plate" the other night would have held a Xmas turkey. As I said, a mixed bag.
