He KNOWS that I am picky about pie. He was right. I was very pleased. The made from scratch crust was flaky. The fillings were great too! I bought several small pies so that we could explore the options. We bought an apple/pear. The fruit was piled high and not weighted down with syrupy fillers. We also bought a Schlafly's (a local micro brewery two blocks away) Imperial Stout Pecan Tart. Yum!
