"We enjoyed our meal. The building is very old, and has some neat historical features. The food was very tasty, and the meals were served with sopapillas. Ask for honey to eat on them! They do not serve chips and salsa for free with meals, and they do not have any alcoholic drinks, so no margaritas. ..."However, the salsa was AMAZING, and worth the few extra bucks.

"On the second night of our weeklong tour of northern New Mexico and southern Colorado (and our second night in Taos) we had dinner at Old Martina's. It was recommended by our outstanding server at Doc Martin's when we inquired where else we should eat during our stay. We were not disappointed.
Th..."e restaurant is located directly across the highway from the historic and mightily photogenic San Francisco de Asis church. The decor is casual, but with a touch of rustic elegance.
I had the "Gold Canyon Ranch Flat Iron Steak," which came slathered in a terrific green peppercorn sauce and accompanied by vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes. It was perfectly prepared.
Caron had the "Stuffed Poblano Pepper," which was stuffed with quinoa and corn, with a spicy tomato coulis, cilantro crema and feta. I did not sample her entree, but I know she was very pleased with it.

"What a surprise. We did not know what to expect when we walked in, save for the fact that the owners of the Adobe and Pines Inn ( a wonderful place) told us it was good, and that it was close, thus avoiding downtown with all of its tourist stuff. The food was very good, and we are used to good resta..."urants since we live in the San Francisco Bay Area-yes foodies to some extent. The service also very good. So don't let the name or the outside fool you.
