  "The only thing I really hate about our annual trip to Raton is the sad state of food/restaurants there. Mulligan's at the Best Western to the rescue! The selection was great -- tons of tasty-sounding fresh veggies which is what most other places in Raton are sorely lacking. (I have to laugh at..." the "salad wagon" at another place in town.) At Mulligan's, I ordered a large salad of mixed greens with grilled salmon. Our friend had flautas, and my husband had a burger. No complaints at all. Everything was fresh, well-presented, and tasty. The atmosphere is a bit swankier than other places in town, but you can still walk in there with your dusty boots and jeans after a long day of shooting or hiking. It was cool, comfortable and relaxed. We only drank water (the waitress brought us a whole pitcher at our request) but the bar looked nice. The service was fine - nothing remarkable either way.
