The Blue Goose is off the main drag, but our B&B had recommended it. It almost didn't look like a restaurant, but a residence. There was only one other table occupie..."d when we arrived, but more showed up as we dined. We had great appetizers (creamy mussels & soup du jour), and the soup was big enough to be a meal itself. The food was nice (fillet & lamb shank), but our service was exceptional. We found on our two week visit all over South Africa, that restaurants tend to seat you, but it can then take up to 10 minutes for servers to arrive, deliver menus & take drink orders and then 10 more minutes to receive those drinks. All while watching multiple employees set tables, sweep floors, and congregate.
