However, the niece of the former owner of La Duchesse Anne has recently taken over management and has had to change the name to the Four Corners Country Inn (http://www.fourcornerscountryinn.com). It is not expensive for good French food and the atmosphere and service is “impeccable” as they say in French. They now have some sandwiches and non-French stuff on the menu. But I highly advise that you stick with the French stuff. The French Charcuterie Board appetizer was more than enough for two (or three!) We had Salmon in Bordelaise sauce and a fantastic tuna dish. Unfortunately the old signature dish of the old place, Half Roasted Duck in a port wine reduction was out. But the fish dishes were exceptionally good.
