  "We went to Strasbourg for the day to ride the great scenic train. Deciding where to go for dinner, I went onto tripadvisor and picked the #1 rated restaurant. I believe this restaurant is probably considered "upscale" in Strasbourg..a bit on the pricey side. The vibe was a bit on the "older" side (w..."e hardly saw anyone younger than 35). Right off the bat, I will tell you the food was very good. If you order the full rack of ribs be prepared for a HUGE portion. Seriously! You can feed 3 people with that one portion. I have to add a negative to this though: This restaurant states on their menu that "due to appearance and meal quality" they don't "split" plates. YET, they will charge $2.50 to throw an extra plate on the table. REALLY??? You give us portions that are enough to feed 3 people but you don't encourage sharing and charge for an extra plate?   "I always stop here when at the various railway museums. Ice cream parlor a real throwback. Very good ice cream. Can be very crowded. Country store in back has lots of bulk items and many things to taste. If you like fudge, they have a great selection. I find the staff friendly and helpful. "
