  "Booked a weekend Groupon deal. We paid £10 per night supplement for king sized room, which was great value. Also dog-friendly so we could let our dog enjoy the lovely walks in the area too. Room was very warm and spacious and for a 3 star hotel we couldn't complain. Staff were friendly & efficient. ..."Only drawback was lack of space in the bar in the evening (about 4 wee tables) yet there was a spacious breakfast room and also a dining room. Perhaps using the breakfast room as a dining room too could free up the dining room for entertainment in the evening? Also there was a queue for breakfast as the food wasn't restocked quickly enough - hopefully the chef will get the knack for keeping up with demand! We'd definitely recommend this hotel and will be back. " More >
