Seriously, I have never been to anything remotely like this restaurant. Maybe some of you locals can't see the big pi..."cture, but we have NOTHING similar here, and I include Greenville, SC (my hometown) and the SC coast (where we vacation all the time). I had the challah bread french toast but what elevated it was the fresh fruit arranged like a bird, the creme fraiche, and the real maple syrup. Hubby had the burrito and from looking at it, it was gorgeous - and he made little moaning sounds a lot while eating. Ample portions too and a good price. The serve-yourself coffee was equally great - BUT the atmosphere was to die for. Old building, old floors, old tables, new linens, clean bathrooms. Just all around interesting while being authentic.
