" We had soft fish tacos & the burger. Both meals were delicious, fresh & filling. Add two drinks & a beer for a total of $40 for lunch. The atmosphere is pleasant & our server was friendly & fast. The bathroom was a single & clean. They welcome trip advisor reviewers with a sign on the front door."
"It took a few minutes to locate the restaurant as it is on a hill above the road it is on and you have to look for the sign above the driveway but......it was definately worth the hunt. Our server, Tonia , was excellent. She had the answers to our questions and knew the food and beverages she was s..."erving. As customers we were delighted with the food and wine and service. The management would be proud to know that her suggestions to us resulted in the sale of an appetizer, a glass of one of their wine specials and desserts for both of us....now thats a good server.
The food was absolutely delicious. We had the stuffed mushroom appetizer and we both agreed they were the best we had ever had anywhere. The chef is a genius with sauces from what we tasted and the rest of the meal was every bit as good.
It isn't an inexpensive place to eat but if you want a nice atmosphere and a dining room with a wonderful view and excellent food with excellent service, it is worth the money to eat...

We were also glad that they let us in although we were in shorts, because this is a very upscale environment. We ordered the peanut soup and the Southern Shrimp cocktail as appetizers. The soup was very unique and very good, like warm peanut butter. The homemade cocktail sauce and relish really accented the shrimp, which were surprisingly fresh. We shared the New York Strip, which was cooked perfectly, very tender, and had a very good flavor. However, it had more gristle than I would have expected. The service was attentive, but fairly slow (maybe fashionably so). The waitress was friendly and accommodating, but a little...
