"Foxfire Grille is centrally located in the heart of Snowshoe Mountain Ski resort in the midst of most of the restaurants and shopping, convenient to several of the lifts. I thought the prices were reasonable considering the location and the distance to get anything else. We rented the Boy's equipmen..."t from Ski Barn at the base of the mountain and got a discount coupon to boot. The coffee was better than Starbucks (just my opinion as they were jam packed) and the Hunk O' Hunk of Barbecued Burger, which is topped with pulled pork, bacon, cheddar cheese and a big onion ring, was great. Since we were just warming up and killing time while our sons skied, we didn't have any problems getting a table. Also had great, attentive service and the restaurant was nicely decorated for the Holidays. This ranked as one of the best meals we had this trip, so I say go for it!

Although they had run out of pepperoni (running out of things was a theme to this last bit of their season all over the resort), they made him a bacon pizza that he loved.
My husband and I loved our dishes as well. I will say that the chef here errs on the side of rare, so keep that in mind. Even though they were slightly undercooked for our tastes, they were ...

"We ate at Foxfire Grille several times on our vacation. The service could be a bit slow at times, but they were generally helpful and the food was good. If you're there on an event weekend, plan for a long wait. We went at 8:30 p.m. on a Thursday night and there was a 45 minute wait."
