  "Having enjoyed brunch several times at Avenue M, we selected it for a Father's Day venue. Our party of four adults and two three year olds arrived at the reservation time. The hostess/owner was friendly and courteous when advising us that there would be a short wait which took about 20 minutes. fi..."nally seated in a comfortable booth, apology repeated, we were promptly greeted by our waitress, ordered drinks, and enjoyed our meals. Among the well prepared dishes were rancho hueveros, a spinach omelet, and a selection of 3 items which satisfied the children. the food was promptly and attractively served by an attentive, friendly waitress. I would suggest that if a party has waited some time after their reserved time, it would behoove the restaurant to offer some complementary item(s) as a gesture of good will.
