  "Mineral Lodge is a funky, cozy, homey kind of place. Coming in from outside on a crisp autumn day... there is nothing that can match the warmth of a wood burning stove and the aroma of bacon, pancakes and syrup! The food itself is pretty average as cafes of this sort go and the prices fair...but the..." portions are huge! The pancakes were gigantic and fluffy, and the amount of hashbrowns and bacon were plentiful. Don't be in a hurry...it may take awhile. But you can go in the back and play pool, look at the jewelery for sale, or play a game of checkers while you wait. The person who waited on us was uber-friendly and so was her darling little girl! If you are heading up that way, I recommend a stop at the Mineral Lodge. They have highchairs, small and large tables, and are family friendly!
