  "Prior to our road trip which would take us through Independence I had researched places to stop for lunch and found Jenny's. We felt a bit out of place walking in; there were only a couple of people there and we felt like obvious tourists, but hey, that's the joy of exploring small town America. ..."It's a nice little place with just a few tables and some people who must be regulars. The service was friendly and efficient, the food, whilst not the cheapest, was very nice and tasty. I had a half sandwich and fries, the fries in particular were lovely.
