  "just been to Kalamaki and have to say we ate here most days, absolutely loved this little family run restaurant, it looks like a greasy spoon cafe but the food there was the best I had during my holiday, The staff were very friendly and the waiter (unlike some other places) allowed us to choose with..."out being overbearing, was very attentive and we noticed didnt try to bring people in on the doorstep. The prices were very reasonable and it was no trouble to make whatever we wanted. We both loved this no frills family run restaurant and cant wait to visit next time we go to Zante. " More >

  "came back from kalamaki on 20th may the food is excellent and the portions enormous, dont have a starter or you will not finnish your main meal the waiter illias is a great guy and very chatty and comical, he doesnt try and drag you in like all the other restaurants (they never used to do this in gr..."eece but i get fed up with it and is offputting. the food should speak for itself) you can see the cooks cooking your food with an open kitchen (its spotless) all the people that work here are very nice and you find that the same people eat here nightly so you become chatty with everyone, if you go and it is full nip next door to the drunken corner and be looked after by demmi shes a star, and there will be a table waiting for you when you go back would highly reccommend the lamb or bef stifado (im an officionado) its perfect.
